Is your child struggling with worries or behaviours that are getting in the way of living a full life? Maybe they have become withdrawn or angry? Maybe there have been some events or transitions that are impacting on your child?
I can provide a safe, confidential space to support children and young people to work through their difficulties and develop new ways of managing feelings and behaviours. Most often this is done through play, creative media and/or age appropriate conversation.
I have an attuned and respectful approach and work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, low mood, depression, low self-esteem, anger, identity and family conflict.
Occasionally parents prefer to work individually with me, I can also work with mothers/fathers alongside their babies or toddlers.
I am a fully qualified Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, registered with BACP. As an integrative therapist I apply more than one approach and draw on a number of clinical and theoretical perspectives including attachment theory, object relations and neurobiology.
Finding support for children and young people can sometimes be daunting or confusing. I therefore invite you and your child to an initial consultation to find out if therapy with me is the 'right fit' for you.
